How does Pitchago ensure continuous improvement?

How long does it take to complete the Level-Up process across all 16 business areas?

The process typically takes 2-3 calendar months, with incubators/accelerators guiding startups through 1-2 business areas per week. Each Business Area session takes between 1-3 hours, allowing for discussions and prioritization of tasks. There is no set time or sequence in which Business Areas are addressed but should be based on each startup’s areas of improvement and urgency. 

Can we customize the assessment criteria for our program?

What is white labeling, and what can be branded?

You can upload your logo and company profile information, which will be displayed on the Portal and to the startups you invite for the Initial Assessment.

Is there a fee for using the portal?

You can run five initial assessments for free. After that, the portal costs $99 per month or $990 per year with unlimited assessments and unlimited team users. Bulk pricing is available on request to (sales@pitchago.com)  for supporting portfolio companies with premium subscriptions.

How do I sign up or log in to the Portal?

You can invite founders in two simple ways:

  1. Direct Invitation
    • Click on “Invite Startup” and enter the founder’s email address. The founder will receive an invitation email (with your logo) with a link to begin the assessment.
  2. Embed Your Unique URL
    • Use the “Embed” function to generate a custom link. Copy and paste the URL wherever needed, such as in emails, your website, or messaging platforms, to share it with founders.
How does Pitchago benefit incubators/accelerators?

What is the Pitchago Portal?

The Portal is a specialized data-driven platform for coaches and mentors within incubators and accelerators to invite and guide startup founders. It provides structured methodologies and a checklist for assessing ventures and prioritizing growth strategies. Investors can also use the Portal to screen startups and help assess existing portfolio founders to check their status and keep them on their toes!   

Can I upgrade or downgrade subscription plans?

You can upgrade by canceling your existing plan and choosing a new one after your current subscription expires. For downgrades, your account will switch to the Free plan at the end of your billing cycle if you cancel before the expiry date.

How does Pitchago prepare me for investor meetings?

The Level-Up section includes questions that investors are likely to ask for each business area, helping you prepare thoughtful, confident responses. Will Pitchago help produce my elevator pitch?

Yes! Pitchago features an AI-powered Pitch Assistant that helps you craft a concise, compelling one-pager pitch—perfect for investor outreach via email. This tool is available as a separate menu item, allowing you to generate, edit, and copy your pitch effortlessly.This function is found as a separate menu item and the pitch can be edited and copied to your clipboard for use when reaching out to investors using the MyInvestor function. 

Can I invite an existing registered user?

Currently, this feature is not available. If a user has already completed an assessment using their email, they must use a different email address to join your team.

Is there a limit to how many team members I can invite?

No, there is no limit to the number of team members you can invite.

Can I export my tasks & Business Area reports?

You can export your task list to an Excel file from the “Task” menu to. You can also download a report to an Excel file on how you have responded to every question by clicking on any Business Area and selecting “View Report.” The export includes all questions, your responses, and personalized advice.

How often should I update my venture information?

You should update your venture information regularly to ensure accuracy, especially when there are significant changes such as new funding rounds, revenue growth, team expansion, or strategic shifts. We recommend reviewing and updating your information at least once every quarter.

What happens if I lose my password?

If you lose your password, click the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. You’ll be prompted to enter your email address, and we’ll send you a link to reset your password. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password and regain access to your account.

I have received a discount code. What should I do?

  • Click on the "Subscription" option.
  • Select the plan covered by your coupon.
  • Enter your credit card details on the payment page (no charge during the coupon period).

You must sign up to dive deeper into the 16 business areas using the Level Up Wizard. Each Level Up Wizard session takes about 10-30 minutes where you (and your team) will be presented with challenging investor questions. Think of it as a thorough checklist to make sure you haven’t forgotten a critical part of your business plan.  For each Level Up Wizard session, your venture score will be adjusted depending on your responses. You will also receive advice on how to level up by accepting suggested tasks, depending on how you respond to each question. With a free subscription, you can access “Business Model” and “Founders & Management” for a detailed evaluation using the Level Up Wizard or by simply clicking on any Business Area. Upgrading to Premium unlocks all business areas, providing a comprehensive startup assessment with actionable recommendations and targeted tasks.

For your convenience and security, we exclusively use Stripe as our trusted payment gateway. Stripe not only accepts all major credit cards but also supports debit cards and popular payment methods. This ensures a seamless and secure transaction process, providing peace of mind for our valued customers.

Does Pitchago integrate with 3rd party apps?

Currently, Pitchago supports integration with third-party apps like Microsoft Excel and PDF when downloading content such as tasks and assessment reports. We also integrate with OpenAI’s various LLMs (Large Language Models) to support Pitchago’s Generative AI capabilities. For managing credit card payments, we are integrated with Stripe. Do I have to provide credit card details during sign-up?

No, you can complete the sign-up process and create a free user account simply by using your email address, first name, last name, and password.

Does the free version limit my access to features?

Yes, the free version has some limitations. With it, you can access the Level Up Wizard and advice for only two business areas: “Business Model” and “Founders & Management”. To unlock the remaining 14 business areas, we recommend upgrading to a Premium Plan. You’ll also have access to the Investor Database, but contact details for individuals are not included in the free plan.

Who can see my Pitchago User Data, and is it kept private?

Only you and the users you invite can access your Pitchago User Data through password-protected accounts. You can also invite external parties to view company summary data. Pitchago processes personal data as a data controller, following applicable laws and our privacy policy.

Will Pitchago help produce my pitch deck?

While Pitchago won't auto-produce your pitch deck (yet!), it helps you understand what's needed and how to prepare for your pitch, including investor questions you're likely to face during and after your presentation. Pitchago has a database of 6,000+ investors filtered by location and investment type with a general search capability. This function is called MyInvestor and can be found in the general menu. Premium accounts get access to investor contact details (email) and can make their general company information visible to potential investors by toggling their profile on the dashboard to “Public”.

How can I understand investment and tech terms?

How can my management team collaborate on Pitchago?

Invite team members to join your workspace, where they can contribute information across Pitchago's 16 business areas. You can create and assign tasks, monitor progress, and collaborate on ideas and strategies in real time. You will find the” Team +” invite button at the bottom of your menu on the dashboard.  

What information is visible when I share my results?

Recipients can see the graphical overview of all 16 business areas, with your venture score, venture stage, investment level, business model, industry sector, product stage, traction, growth rate, ARR, and expected funding size and timings. They cannot access your detailed question responses or private notes.

How do I share my results?
